A personal journal, not a shop.
This is an independent, family-managed personal project. It is not an online shop, a professional qualification or a channel for directly contacting a child. There are no visitor accounts, public comments, order forms, payment requests or child-contact forms.
Local interactions.
The local journal tools remain browser-based. This static edition has no website inbox and does not store enquiry submissions on a server. It prepares a draft on your device; you choose whether to send it in your email or WhatsApp application.
The optional observation notebook stores one entry in this browser’s local storage only after you choose “Save in this browser”. Another person using the same browser may be able to read it. “Clear note” removes the saved entry. Restricted browsers may block saving; “Download note” provides a local text-file alternative.
External websites.
Page imagery is supplied locally with the website. No external font files are loaded. Following a source link opens an external website with its own privacy practices.
Links to the family business, photographic archives and educational sources open external websites with their own policies. Business enquiries belong with the adult-managed family business, not with the children.
Comfort and accessibility.
Navigation, gallery controls and dialogs support keyboard operation. Use the footer’s motion control to turn decorative motion off. The website also respects the device’s reduced-motion setting.
What is deliberately not published.
No school, private address, daily schedule, direct child contact details or child account system is included. Any future personal updates or public submissions should be reviewed by a parent.
Before publication.
This client-review edition is marked noindex,nofollow . That setting is not password protection and is not a privacy guarantee. The site owner should approve the content, imagery and family presentation before public launch. Hosting-server logs and third-party services depend on the deployed configuration. The adult operator must approve their handling before public launch.
Your reading place.
“Keep my place” explicitly saves one article and section for this website in this browser. Saving a new place replaces the previous one. The bookmark contains no free text, name, contact information or reading history. It is not encrypted or protected by an account, and another person using the same browser may see it.
Use “Clear reading place” on the homepage or in the reading companion to remove it. Selections, the viewing-room notes and the notebook are separate and are not cleared by this action. Reading places are never added to enquiry drafts. In a restricted single-file preview, a saved place may last only while that preview stays open.
Section highlighting and the comfortable-text control operate in the open page. They do not transmit reading activity or automatically save progress.
Your Folio & portable copies.
Your Folio reads only this website’s existing saved selections, reading place, viewing-room notes and, where available, observation notebook or concept palette. It does not create an account, automatically save work or add a new storage key. Notes are hidden behind a disclosure on the overview, not encrypted.
Backups contain only the categories you select and review. Written notes are excluded by default. The downloaded JSON file is plain text: anyone with access to that file can read its included notes. Images, motion preferences, unsaved edits and temporary enquiry transfers are not exported. Importing a file does not give permission to include notes in an enquiry.
File validation, the preview and the import all run in this browser. The file is not uploaded. A reviewed import can fill gaps without replacing existing work, or replace only the categories you explicitly select. Only this website’s file format, reference IDs and reading locations are accepted. A file for the other website is rejected. Import is manual, not cloud synchronisation.
Removing a category from the Folio removes this website’s saved browser copy only. Clearing room notes also removes its pending temporary room-note transfer in this tab. Copies already downloaded, open in other tabs or shared elsewhere cannot be recalled. Unsaved fields in another open tab may remain visible; close that tab without saving to discard those separate edits.
Restricted storage can keep work only in the open preview. Keep a downloaded copy before closing. Review and test a file on the destination website before deleting the original saved copy.
